ABOUT Marshall

Education:

University of Texas at Austin (B.S. Chemical Engineering, B.A. Plan II Honors, Computational Science and Engineering Certificate - in progress)

 

Teaching Experience:

Marshall worked as a research assistant in labs at UT-Austin and often helped new members learn experimental procedures and safety requirements. As a double-major at UT-Austin, he has hands-on experience with science, engineering, liberal arts and programming. When working with individuals or groups, Marshall identifies and achieves learning goals. He is eager to give students the tools they need to succeed in college.

 

Educational Philosophy:

“I believe that learning makes the world a more interesting place. Solving practice problems gives you confidence and helps you identify gaps in your understanding. Combining confidence and understanding will allow you to achieve academic goals and to solve problems outside the test environment.”

 

Interesting Fact:

In his spare time, Marshall enjoys hiking, soccer, board games, and reading. In high school, he was the captain of the tennis team and the Mock Trial team.
